TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before confirming a booking. They contain important information about payments, cancellations, changes, liability limitations and traveller responsibilities.

1. Parties & acceptance

These Terms & Conditions form the entire agreement between:

  • You (the “Client” and/or “Participant(s)”), and

  • Barcelona inDeep, operated by Manila Di Maira (VAT ID X5483042A), Barcelona, Spain (the “Company”).

By confirming a booking (by email, invoice payment, or written acceptance of a proposal), you:

  • accept these Terms & Conditions on your behalf and on behalf of all Participant(s) included in the booking; and

  • confirm that all Participant(s) have been informed of and accept these terms

​

2. Our services & booking confirmation

Barcelona inDeep designs and coordinates private journeys and bespoke experiences delivered through a network of independent local partners (e.g., guides, venues, transport providers, experience hosts).

A booking is considered confirmed only when:

  1. we have received the required payment (deposit or full amount, as applicable), and

  2. you have received written confirmation from us by email.

We reserve the right to decline a booking where permitted by law.

3. Pricing, inclusions & exclusions

All prices are quoted in EUR (€) and include only the services explicitly listed in your proposal/itinerary.

Unless explicitly included, prices do not include (non-exhaustive):

  • flights and travel to/from the start/end points

  • meals, drinks, admissions or services not listed

  • personal expenses and gratuities

  • passports/visas and any travel documentation

  • travel insurance (medical, cancellation, baggage, etc.)

Bank/card providers may apply currency conversion or transaction fees.

4. Payments

4.1 Multi-day private journeys & multi-day itineraries

  • Deposit: 30% of the total price is due to secure reservations (non-refundable, unless otherwise stated).

  • Balance: due 60 days before the start date, unless otherwise stated in writing.

4.2 One-day experiences

  • Full payment is required to confirm the reservation, unless otherwise stated in writing.

​

4.3 Payment methods & fees

Payments are accepted by bank transfer or by card (where available). Any card processing fees may apply and will be communicated in advance.

5. Cancellations by you

All cancellations must be sent in writing to hola@barcelonaindeep.com.

​

5.1 Multi-day journeys

Cancellation fees apply per participant, based on the date we receive written notice:

  • 90+ days before start date: 30% of the trip price (deposit forfeited)

  • 61–89 days: 60% of the trip price

  • 0–60 days: 100% of the trip price

​

5.2 One-day experiences

If cancelled 14+ days before the experience date: full refund minus €50 service fee.
If cancelled within 13 days: 100% of the price is due (no refund).

5.3 No-shows / unused services

No refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or unused services once the experience/trip has started.

6. Changes requested by you

Changes to confirmed bookings may generate additional costs (supplier penalties, rebooking fees, rate differences). We will always inform you before proceeding.

For multi-day itineraries, date changes after confirmation may be refused or treated as a cancellation, depending on supplier conditions.

7. Changes or cancellations by us

We may need to modify an itinerary due to operational reasons (supplier availability, weather, safety, local regulations, etc.). We will:

  • aim to offer comparable alternatives; and

  • keep the spirit and quality of the proposal.

If we cancel a booking for reasons within our control, refunds will be limited to amounts actually paid to us for services not delivered.

8. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays, changes, disruption or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to: natural events, extreme weather, strikes, civil unrest, war, epidemics/pandemics, travel restrictions, government actions, or supplier insolvency).

In such cases, any refund will depend on what can be recovered from suppliers. For this reason, comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

9. Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

Travel insurance is not included. You are strongly advised to obtain adequate coverage for:

  • medical expenses and repatriation

  • cancellation/interruption

  • personal belongings

  • activities included in your itinerary

10. Passports, visas, health & fitness

You are responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents and meet any entry requirements.

You must assess your physical condition and suitability for planned activities. You agree to inform us in advance of any medical conditions, mobility limitations, allergies or dietary requirements that may require attention.

We reserve the right to refuse participation in an activity if a supplier/guide reasonably believes it may compromise safety.

11. Behaviour & safety

Participants must respect local laws, customs, venues and other guests. We and our suppliers may refuse service or remove a participant (without refund) where behaviour compromises safety, legality or the experience of others.

12. Liability limitation

Barcelona inDeep acts as a coordinator and intermediary for third-party suppliers. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for acts/omissions of third-party suppliers (guides, venues, transport, etc.)

  • our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid to us for the relevant service(s)

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (including loss of enjoyment, profits, or opportunities).

13. Insurance & traveller protection (company coverage)

The Company holds the mandatory protections required for travel services, including professional civil liability insurance and insolvency protection/guarantee, in accordance with applicable Spanish and EU regulations (including the EU Package Travel Directive). Details are available upon request.

14. Photos & content

Unless you object in writing, you grant permission for non-sensitive photos/videos taken during experiences (by us or our partners) to be used for editorial and promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any imagery, you must notify us in writing before or at the start of the experience.

15. Severability

If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remains in effect.

​

16. Updates

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of booking applies.

​

17. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be subject to the courts of Barcelona, Spain, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
